Some decor has been put up in the place by Geoff, however they may not stay in that exact spot but it is giving us an idea of how and where to put things.

We have had designed a wine bottle holder which has been displayed behind the bar like so. Don’t worry – these bottles are just for display; they will hold full ones!

The same has been done to the gents toilets as well and all toilet seats in the restaurant have been replaced by nice solid wooden ones.

We have finished the ladies toilets. The mirror has been replaced by one that is somewhat more appealing than the last one we had and Geoff has put up a glass shelf with decorations to make the place feel a little more personable. The sink has also been finished and a towel ring put up.

We have had signs made up from a family which does engraving and they have done us proud with these

And somewhat less exciting for you, we have gas. The guys are in there this weekend connecting Geoff's kitchen equipment up so as soon as that is done I will post pictures.

Very British. And absolutely brilliant – we love this and feel it just finishes off the bar quite nicely!

After much designing, we have a top bar! This allows for glasses to be stored in cupboards either side and wine glasses to be hung from the middle.
We have decided to put our wine fridge in the gap next to the bar. A cage if you will has been made for it with the left-hand side a wine display unit

And I left the carpenter finishing off the trimming for the main doors!
Trimming has been put in around all of the door frames in the restaurant just to finish off the appearance of the doors

The bar as you can see has been cut twice to allow for the draft beer pumps to comfortably slot in and also to allow for a work space underneath. What you can see behind the pumps is a glass-cooler donated by our (one and only) local brewery, Belikin.

And some masks - A generous donation from Mr Larder to add class to the place! Thank you Jerry!
Curtains, just to make the place feel more comfortable, homely and warm
He has also been putting up soft furnishings such as these decorative candle holders

Geoff has been busy playing about with the layout of the tables. Here, he has arranged the evening table!
We now have swing doors at the entrance of the kitchen. One is an 'in' door and the other an 'out' so staff can't bump into each other when one is carrying food and the other empty dishes.
A double sink has now been installed in the wash-up area in the kitchen. A tiler is in there as we speak putting back the tiles along the sink and also along the top of the metal work surface to prevent water leaking down the back!
